Helios The Fearless
Helios came to me as a wild born 4 week old kitten.
He was the runt and outcast of the litter so i had to
pay him extra special attention and play with him
and feed him and give him evaporated milk.
He caught on to the litter box right away.
He had his first jump from my knee to the cat bed
about a 2 ft jump and he plowed his face into the bed
but he never gave up.
Orion got some new life breathed into him with the
kitten and got into play gradually but Helios was
really wanting to play and would always run up
to hime and want to play...My orange tabby eventually
got right into it and they became close buddies.
This spring was a new experience for the kitten and
it was his first spring...i saw him climb his first tree.
Hes a good mouser and i suspect he will keep the
squirrel population in check.
I built a Heavy duty chair out of 2x4s and 3 in
screws...no glue and its rock solid after 15 months
of use and fell victim to be used as a scratch post
so one main 2x4 is half gone...scratched off by Helios.
He goes out on adventures with Orion and they go
off on some wild mission.
Both cats come and go in summer so i get lonely
a bit because theyre gone so long.
Helios goes solo most of the time but hey Orion
used to do this long ago.
Hes a hungry eater and now i have double cats
expenses but for the company its totally worth it.
I wouldn't rade my Helios for the world.
